The Vermentino was introduced in the Mr. Mick portfolio in 2014 and has since then proven to be one of the most exciting wines year after year. Being a popular Italian variety with its origin on the island of Sardinia, but also spread along the southern coast of France, the Vermentino is suited for a broad array of cuisines.
The wine has lifted grapefruit, apple, pear and almond blossom aromas and flavours, modelled in the classic Italian style with just a touch of fruit sweetness to balance the refreshing crushed rock minerality and spritely natural acidity.

The Italian variety, Sangiovese continues to gain popularity in Australia and with its roots happy to be in Clare Valley soils, this unoaked ‘easy-going’ wine style fits in to our repertoire perfectly, delivering vibrant flavours that create great conversation and satisfy many palates. The wine is light in style, packed with juicy raspberry and strawberry fruit flavours, refreshing natural acidity and soft silky tannins.

This un-oaked style, born in the south-east of France and popular world-wide, continues the Mr. Mick philosophy of bringing innovative winemaking concepts to our Australian consumers. This attractive Grenache is an ‘easy drinking’ fruit forward wine that creates interest and satisfies many tastes. It is made to suit a broad array of cuisine and drinking environments, light in style with juicy and savoury red berry fruit, a hint of varietal Grenache spice and soft, silky natural tannin.

Mirroring the central areas of Spain, which Tempranillo calls home, the warm summer growing conditions of the Clare Valley is the ideal climate to make this variety shine. This is one of our most popular wines in our restaurant as it matches with just about any food. Our aim is to make wines for everyone to enjoy and this is yet another one that fits perfectly in the Mr Mick range.

For many years Clare Valley Shiraz has captivated wine enthusiasts with its power and elegant synergism. This wine emulates just that style, graceful yet flavoursome, gentle enough to enjoy on its own or great with a diverse range of food.
Lifted violet, blueberry and jubed fruit bouquets leads the nose with nuances of vanilla oak flavour due to American oak maturation. The palate is rounded and medium bodied with silky tannins and dark cherry and ripe raspberries with a hint of herb and spice.

A harmonising partner for Cabernet, the Merlot adds middle palate texture whilst also softening Cabernet's powerful structural tannin.
This traditional blend has distinctive varietal characters of plums, inky blackberries, coffee and dark chocolate with hints of violet flower and herbal spice.
