Description
We are proud to continue the Mr. Mick philosophy of making affordable wines for everyone to enjoy with the release of our 2023 Mr. Mick Rosé. This vintage continues to exemplify our chosen style with its alluring lifted aromas and flavours of fresh red fruits and cream with hints of lychee and white peach to follow. Delicate fruit lingers on the palate before a cleansing, long finish held together with crisp Clare Valley acidity borne from a cool and steady ripening season. It’s a wine that leaves you wanting another glass.
Winemaking Notes
Traditional Rose varietals were harvested at the perfect maturity for rose winemaking, crushed, chilled and pressed short after to minimize color extraction while retaining the vibrant red berries flavours. The juices were cold settled and fermented separately at low temperatures for maximum fruit expression prior to careful blending, stabilisation, clarification and bottling. Very slight residual sweetness remains in order to enhance the natural fruit characters and balance the acidity.

This wine can be enjoyed on its own or it makes a great accompaniment to Asian cuisine and dishes with a little spice.
