Description
Winemakers Tim Adams and Brett Schutz continue the Mr. Mick philosophy of making affordable wines for everyone to enjoy. In it’s 11th release, the 2021 Mr. Mick Rosé continues to epitomize this philosophy with its alluring lifted aromas and flavours of strawberries and cream with hints of lychee and white peach to follow. Soft fruit lingers on the palate before a cleansing, long finish. It’s a wine that leaves you wanting another glass.
Winemaking Notes
Sangiovese, Shiraz and Grenache were crushed, chilled and held cold soaking separately in the press in order to extract vibrant red berry flavours from the juice. The juices were cold settled and fermented separately prior to careful blending, stabilisation, clarification and bottling. Very slight residual sweetness remains in order to enhance the natural fruit characters and balance the natural acidity borne from a perfect ripening period.
Food Pairing
This wine can be enjoyed on its own or it makes a great accompaniment to Asian cuisine and dishes with a little spice.
